If the car is sensitive to sidewind it is often time to replace the universal joint.
The rubber in the universal joint doesn't last forever and you can't normally feel that it is bad.
If you turn the steering wheel back and forth and feel the universal joint with the other hand you feel it flexing where it's connected to the axles.

The universal joint for R16 can't be bought anymore, but the universal joint for old type of R5, which is the same, is still available. (tip from Mario Rouwenhorst)
